How it works
1. Snap it on. Place your knife against the magnetic block: 20° for most Western kitchen knives, 15° for thinner, Japanese-style blades.
2. Roll. Roll the disc back and forth along the edge with light, steady pressure.
3. Flip and finish. Turn the knife over, repeat, and slice.
What's in the kit
The rolling sharpener with a Whetstone 1000 disc and the magnetic 15°/20° angle block.
Whetstone 1000 is the everyday grit: it brings back a dull edge and keeps it sharp with quick touch-ups.
Good to know
Works on straight-edged steel knives: chef's, santoku, carving and utility knives. Not for serrated knives, scissors or ceramic knives. Very small blades may not sit flat on the block. A very dull knife takes longer the first time; after that, touch-ups are quick.

Your knives aren't bad. They're just dull.
Sharpening comes down to one thing: holding a steady angle. It's the part that makes whetstones hard and pull-through sharpeners rough on your edge. Anglewood takes care of it for you, so you can bring tired knives back to life and keep them cutting like new.
Why roll instead of pull?
Pull-through sharpeners guess at the angle and can chip and wear down your edge. Anglewood locks the angle and sharpens evenly.
